PMR has modelled, organized and implemented the entire network of local public transport stops.
It consists of 3500 sites identified by suitable stops for both urban and extra-urban services distributed in 44 municipalities. All stops are in accordance with the Highway Code and authorized in accordance to the law of the D.P.R. 753/1980 by the Service Granting Bodies. The stop-points are coded, geo-referenced and equipped with special door markers and timetables.
The most commonly used sites, the terminus and stops near the main points of interest and interchanges are equipped with street furniture (bus shelters and benches) to allow maximum comfort to waiting passengers. Currently, there are about 480 stops which are equipped with street furniture, all in anodized aluminium, in different designs and from different suppliers.
